Dare to Win, Super Falcons Challenge France with A Game Plan [2019 WWC]

Nigerian ladies are determined to play the match of their life on Monday June 17,  by 20:00 gmt+, at Stade de la Route de Lorient Stadium. The match against host France will determine their fate in the on going FIFA Women World Cup.

France is still seen as the favorite to host and win the 2019 Women world cup, after gaining six points from two games...beating Korea republic 4 - 0 and 2 - 1 win against Norway. Then the last game against Super Falcons of Nigeria become a mere game of pride to ensure they top Group A.

Norway has gained three points and are favored to win Korea Republic in the last group game. Nigeria has also three points and has a tougher opponent in France

If Super Falcons win France, they're likely to move to second position on head to head. And if they draw the match, may also stand a chance to qualify as best losers.

 "Dare to win" Super Falcons challenge France; despite Les Bleues had piped them 8 - 0 in a friendly encounter during the build up to the world cup. But Nigerian captain, Desire Oparanozie, say "This is a different ball game."

"It is not going to be an easy game, everybody knows that we are going there to fight to get at least a point."

"France is a very offensive team and they have some fantastic midfielders as well as attackers. It is going to be a physical game in the middle, we know their midfielders, likewise, they know us. We are not going to give them any space to operate in the midfield."


" We have been playing zonal marking and usually form a diamond ring defensive system from the 25yards. With this we will work hard to contain them in a ''man-to-man marking." And I think our coach may want to feature more ball winners in the middle."

"If we are able to take the game to the cleaners, we will be depending on counter attack to get at least a goal or two.."
