Premier League Restart: How to Watch the Remaining Fixtures Free on TV

If you're here in Nigeria and before you subscribe for your Cable TV or other pay TV higher package that include live broadcast of Premier League, I want to let you know that most of the remaining fixtures may be broadcast live on free-to-air TV.  So put your ear to the ground!

Though, no official pronouncement had been made, but there's this grapevine that NTA24 and AIT may air the league on their terrestrial free-to-air TV.

Sports fans are being targeted with a range of new TV package 'special offers' to coincide with the restart of Premier League football this Wednesday, June 17.

But before signing up to a deal, it is worth considering all options. Experts warn that viewers should be wary of agreeing to long-term contacts and that 33 of the remaining Premier League fixtures still to be played this season can be watched for free on TV.

All 92 matches to be played are available to watch live on TV as stadiums will remain closed due to the continued coronavirus crisis.

Sky Sports will show 64 – 25 for free. BT Sport has agreed to show 20 paid-for matches while Amazon Prime will stream four games at no cost and the BBC will broadcast the remaining four free too..

Websites such as Premier League will provide full details of all the outstanding fixtures, how they can be watched and if viewing is free.

Guy Anker, of consumer website MoneySavingExpert, says: 'Sports packages are terribly confusing to compare given the vast array of options available. Before diving in, sports lovers should spend some time comparing the deals and the various contract lengths. You may end up better off paying extra for a deal you can cancel at any time.'
