Ethiopia striker, Saladin Said, warn Super Eagles of Nigeria that the Wayla Antelopes will be in Calabar to play the game of their lives! And the reply is simple, ‘Sorry Brother, the game is a walkover!’ “Whether Ethiopia decide to hire Lionel Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo and Frank Ribery put together, they will still fall like a pack of cards in Calabar.” boasted Towon Sonayon, an ardent fan of Super Eagles.

Just the way Guinness ‘Fly with the Eagles Ad’ puts it: “We proved just  how much we needed the ticket to Brazil in the first leg of the final qualifying match against the Ethiopians.., The Eagles are set to do it again and book their place among the world’s soccer elite.” And Nigerians are ready to cheer Super Eagles on, all the way to Brazil.

The drums are rolling out already as Nigerians has put up different plans to celebrate the world cup qualification.

Nigeria fans wild Celebration
At Queen’s place, a popular joint at IBB way in Calabar, where football fans usually gather to enjoy themselves, have put up a face lift. Madam Queen, the proprietress said, “We’ve already doubled our stock level and engaged more sales girls for the historic Saturday night. We’re expecting to celebrate till day break.”

But Shola Adeboye, an Amateur film maker, has a different perspective to the game. He plans to upload his YouTube channels: www.youtube.com/happynigeria  with video clips of how Nigerians celebrates the qualification. He will be moving around Lagos, to different viewing Centers and big screen venues, armed with his Cameras to capture exciting scenarios.

The celebration may continue on Sunday while Super Eagles jet out to keep a date with the Azzurris of Italy on an International Friendly match at Craven Cottage in London, on Tuesday November 19, by 5.00pm Nigeria time. Though, there’s also an underground plan to host the team to a Presidential Banquette at Aso Rock on Saturday November 23.

Super Eagles After win in Addis Ababa

However, Super Eagles Left back, Benjamin Francis has boasted that he and his team mates will not be complacent in Saturday’s World cup play off game against Ethiopia, insisting they will go all out for victory against their East African opponent.
