2014 GREEN BALL TRIAL CAMP: 200 Young Football Players Required in Lagos Nigeria

GreenHunters Sports International is offering 200 young players in Nigeria within the age of 16 – 22 years, an opportunity to learn modern football techniques and perhaps, be selected to try out with clubs abroad.

This August Break, Green Ball trial camp will commence in Lagos Nigeria, the 2014 edition. And for two weeks, players will go through the drill and have the thrill of tasting what it’s like to hit the big time professional scene.

Roger Bongaerts

Roger Bongaerts, Head Coach, Youth Development Program at VVV.Venlo and founder Total Soccer Method (TSM) will be the main instructor among others in the camp.

Bongaerts will be helping players develop football intelligence and acquire some modern technical skills required for their career. This is to let you know that Green Ball Trial Camp is not just a place to discover talents, but more of football clinic where you can sharpen your skills for your career progression.

Bongaerts had worked as former Head Coach, Men Soccer at University of Kansas USA; former Coach, Adidas Youth Academy Germany and Scout of Arsenal FC of England. He has a lot to impart on players both on the field and in the classroom. Bongaerts has a Doctorate Degree in Physical Education and sports management.

Paul Stretford

We may also be privileged to have Paul Stretford, a renowned FIFA Licensed player Agent and football consultant with Leaderbock, who has agreed to come to the camp. It’ll be an opportunity for him to scout exceptional talents for clubs in Europe.

Stretford has brokered many deals for some of the top players in FC Villarreal and Seville. He was vitally involved in the transfer of Ikechukwu Uche, Nigerian International, to Villarreal.

Green Ball Trial Camp is another effort of GreenHunters Sports International to help develop young African players and also empower them to start a more flourishing football career. While we are still searching for the right sponsors to partner with us on this project, we are already moving ahead in connecting with the right resource persons and materials locally and abroad.
