Former coach of Enyimba, Kadiri Ikhana, on Monday
signed a deal to coach Shooting Stars Sports Club of Ibadan, after agreeing to
deal of N14.5 million. Although, a pay cut from his 1.8m deal with Enyimbalast
season, Ikhana remain the highest paid coach in Nigeria Professional Football

Ikhana signed the deal after discussion with the
Chairman of Oyo State House of Assembly Committee on Sports, Fatai Adesina,
Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Sports and Youth Development, Mrs. Lolade
Agboola, General Manager of the club, Rashidi Balogun and the Chairman Oyo
State Football Association, Chief James Odeniran.
The coach said he had a contract worth N1.8m in
monthly salary with Enyimba last season and that he accepted N1.2m after he was
persuaded to do so by the representatives of the state government and the club
management. He opted to stay in a hotel instead of a house provided by the
