Nansel Selbol: A Better than Jay Jay Okocha is Here!

Former Plateau United midfielder Nansel Selbol who currently features for Swope Park Rangers in the United Soccer League at the US has been tipped to be the one that will inject stability in the Super Eagles’ midfield.

Although he joined Sporting Kansas City academy in 2015, the now 19-year-old was rewarded with first-team shirt and proved his mettle with brilliant performances for the American side scoring five goals in four games before a move to affiliate side Swope.

Just like the legendary Jay Jay Okocha, Nansel is well noted for his pace and skills, combined with the ability to stabilize movement of a team – a feature he exhibits with his current club., much more better than Jay Jay in his active days.

Jay Jay Okocha is widely regarded as the best Nigerian player ever and one of the greatest African players of all time and Nigeria is yet to get a formidable replacement for the legend.
