No More Contest, Plateau United Are Clear Champions of NPFL 2017 Season

With four games to the end of Nigeria Professional Football League 2017 season, you easily predict that Plateau United are going to be the clear winners.

Having defeated close runner up on the league table 1 -0 last weekend... and now 6 points ahead of MFM, what the Jos team require is just a win from their remaining four matches and they will be crowned the champions.

Analysts believe that Plateau United could even get an away win against embattled ABS next weekend, but if that does not happen, then they may wait for their home game against Rivers united. Kennedy Boboye are well motivated to finish the job as early as possible.

There's no more contest, since MFM couldn't even get a draw in Jos last weekend.

Perhaps, where there seems to be contest now, is which team will end up second and earn a place at next CAF Champions league. MFM is current srcond on the table with 56 points while Akwa United and Enyimba are in third and fourth position with 54 points respectively...only 2 points and goal difference separating the three teams.
