Cristano Ronaldo wins 2017 Fifa Best Footballer of the year award for the men's category. Well deserved.! The portuguese national had another incredible year... and to lead Real Madrid to retaining the UEFA Champions League was some great feat. And what a complete player...almost performing like a bionic goal machine.

So Ronaldo wins the Fifa player of the year award for the fourth time in five years. That’s five awards apiece for him and Messi, the Argentinian’s golden period coming to a relatively halt when he won four in a row between 2009 and 2012.

But there's one Neymar Junior rearing his head, already out showing some incredible performances at PSG with a price tag of €222million.
