Yaya Touré, Manchester City — net worth £43 million ($55 million); enough to make the world's top 10 richest footballers and Africa's wealthest.

Yaya Touré defied media speculation linking him with a transfer to AC Milan and Inter Milan by signing a one-year contract extension at Manchester City.

Toure is the only African player in this bracket, but didn't in any way get to the £100 million mark.

Net worth data from the Sunday Times rich list, Forbes, Goal.com and financial services site Gobankingrates.com. shows that only three out of the ten footballers are worth over £100 million: Cristiano Ronaldo worth £250 million, Lionel Messi £230 million and Zlatan Ibrahramovic £110 Million.
