6. Jordan
Botaka, Sint Truiden & Democratic Republic of Congo:
Botaka may still be lacking an end product, and he flopped in the Championship
with Leeds United, but there aren’t too many of the continent’s stars who can
match him for sheer mastery of a football.
5. Vincent
Aboubakar, FC Porto & Cameroon: Such are his goalscoring
feats—and occasionally his profligacy—that Aboubakar’s technical prowess can
get overlooked. His Nations Cup final-winning goal for the Indomitable Lions in
2017, however, was a perfect demonstration of his agility, innovation and
boldness when in the opposition box. He already had four goals in five
Portuguese top-flight games this term.
4. Yannick
Bolasie, Aston Villa & Democratic Republic of Congo:
Currently still finding his way back to top form after his Everton career was
ruined by a devastating injury, Bolasie has still got some exceptional skills
on the latest edition of the EA Sports franchise. Pace 82 and dribbling 82 are
both down from last year, understandably, but he's nonetheless an exceptional
baller and should be a joy to play with on FIFA 19.
Riyad
Mahrez, Manchester City & Algeria: The top-rated North
African maestro on the game, Mahrez is a well-rounded talent who can hurt teams
in a variety of different ways. His dribbling rating of 91 is a big boost, and
makes him a menace for defenders. If any FIFA opponents do manage to shackle
him, he has the tekkers to get out of a tight spot, and a pace rating of 86
makes him a threat across the forward line. If he thrives at Manchester City,
Mahrez could get an even bigger boost next term.
Jay-Jay
Okocha, Nigeria: Included on the game as an Icon, there are
three iterations of Okocha, all of which have a five-star skill rating, even if
some other stats may differ. Gamers should have a ball taking Jay-Jay out for a
spin on the latest edition of FIFA, and expect many breathtaking moments from
the Super Eagles superstar.
Wilfried
Zaha, Crystal Palace & Ivory Coast: The only one of
the six 5* skillers on the new FIFA to be a new addition to this list, Zaha
deserves his stats boost after a remarkable 12 months for Palace. He scored
nine in 29 last term, and has followed that up with a further three in five
this season. A long-term deal signed with the Eagles should keep him in South
London, but expect Zaha to continue making a case that he's the Premier
League's best player outside the top six.
