The Best Way to Produce Your Promo-Video Clips and Make It More Attractive to Football Clubs [See Samples]

Hello, my name is Benson Chukwueke, a football marketing consultant and CEO, GreenHunters Sports International.

We groom and package talented football players to become more attractive to clubs around the world.

When we talk to a club's management about a player we want them to try out for possible recruitment, we usually show them the player's Promo-video clips to capture their interest and swing them to action...

A very attractive promo-video clips can drive a club's management not only to send Trials Invitation letter to you, but also pay your flight, accommodation, feeding and even willing to pay you Appearance fee. That makes your promo-video clips a very important marketing tool for your football career.

This is reason I want to share here, the best way to Produce your Promo-video clips so it could become more attractive to football clubs.

I have watched several videos players send to me. Some of them very unattractive you can't even send it to a club. Here I will show you sample video clips and let you see the difference between an unattractive video clips and the one that is more attractive to club management

Sample 1:

This is a video clips of a Nigerian player who plays his football for a Japanese club; sent to me via Youtube link. It is an example of an unattractive video clips. It is too long (about an hour length) and contain many unnecessary play.

- First, it looks more like an edited match video highlights than a promo video clips.
- Second, the videos were shot from a far distance. Though, the matches where high quality games and the player, the only black among Japanese players, yet it was difficult to idenify him during the run of play.
- There wasn't any close shot clips or slow motions to highlight the player's skills.

Sample 2:
This is yet another video clips sent to me by an upcoming Brazilian player. An example of a more Atttractive promo-video clips.

The video clips were short and precise (13minutes 21seconds). It labelled every match (what competition or tournament it was) and showed only the spectacular moves with a circle cursor to identify the player. Though, most of the clips where lower level games, but you can easily see what kind of player he is.

Conclusion:
I have said in my previous posts that Promo-video clips are not Match videos or Highlights videos of a match or tournament.  It is more of highlights and compilations of a player's best performances in recent games (not more than two years games) and shouldn't be too long (not shorter than 3minutes or longer than 20minutes).

The reason is, it is usually difficult to get a club's management to watch  promo-video clips. They don't have the time to watch unnecessary or boring videos. A promo-video clips is like a marketing demo meant to showcase your unique features, promote your skills as well as your performances. So it should quickly get the interest of a club's management and drive them to action.
