Nigerian star Arnaut Danjuma has reacted to his first UEFA Champions League goal in the 3-1 defeat to Atletico Madrid at Wanda Metropolitano on Wednesday night.
The 21-year-old Club Brugge forward curled a beauty to level for Belgium Champions in the 39th minutes of the matchday before Antoine Griezmann and Koke seal the victory for Deigo Simeone's side and won their second consecutive Group A game.
Danjuma, who is eligible to play for the Super Eagles through his Nigerian father lamented and disappointed "I am happy with my goal, but when in the end you lose 3-1 it is just something for the statistics which does not really help you further,”
