GreenHunters Report Say Nigerians Are Better in Boxing than in Football - Study the Whitepaper on "Nigeria's Competitive Advantage in Sports"
In checking Nigeria's competitive advantage in sports, GreenHunters Sports International, a sports marketing and management consult, reached out to statistics to show which sport could bring more glory to the country and why government should invest a little more on these sports, comparatively to football.
The study shows that Nigerians are better in boxing than in football, while women's football are likely to bring more glory to Nigeria than their men counterpart. However, the report shows clearly that men football remains the number one sports in terms of following and interest both in Nigeria and the world at large.
Records show that Nigerians may have natural endowment for sports like weightlifting, boxing, wrestling and racing (athletics) and recently excelling in basketball such that more attention should be given to these sports - particularly BOXING!
