What Really Caused "Rooney's" Death

 

It was a dark Saturday, when "Rooney" suddenly collapsed during training session in the morning and all effort to save his life proved abortive... 

A football player identified as Sodiq Adebisi popularly known as "Rooney," has died after he reportedly slumped at the Dipo Dina International Stadium, Ijebu-Ode, Ogun State.

The 34-year-old was training with Stationery Stores FC on Saturday morning, Dec. 2, when he suddenly collapsed.

He was rushed to a state hospital in Ijebu-Ode but efforts to save him by a medical team proved abortive.

 He was pronounced dead on the same day and his corpse has been deposited at the state mortuary in Ijebu-Ode.

Before his demise, he was part of the team (North York FC) participated in Fusion Championship League 2021 with 3 individual awards MON. 

The entire team (North York FC) mourn a great player, gentle and great leader to his teammates, coaches and the team chairman.
