Ademola Lookman's late goal in the first half gave Nigeria a 1-0 win over Angola on Friday as they advanced to the semi-finals of the Africa Cup of Nations. Moses Simon out run the Angolan defender and speed into the eighteen yard box and laid a great pass, which Lookman jabbed into the goal post.

Mabululu almost netted his fourth goal of the competition during the opening minutes when he drew a superb save from Nigeria goalkeeper Stanley Nwabali. Substitute Zito then hit the post before the hour. A bit of hard luck stood against Angola from equalizing. Yet, Osimhen 72 minutes header was disallowed as a goal after a VAR check for offside.

Nigeria continues in their quest to win the trophy for the fourth time. They seems to have found a way, with a solid defense mechanism and perhaps, a very dangerous attacking formation, very fast as they keep coming at the defenders. The combination of Victor Osimhen, Moses Simon and Ademola Lookman can wreck any defensivd line up in world.

The Super Eagles, three-time continental champions, will play either Cape Verde or South Africa in the last four next Wednesday.
