While the world is looking up to players like Nyemar
Jr to light up the football stage at the Rio Olympics this summer…. That’s only
because much have not been said about the DARK HORSE
Etebo Ogenekaro may not be in Manchester City or
Arsenal today… so it’s understandable why he’s not getting the entire headline
even with the media hypes in Nigeria.
But when hostilities begin at the Rio Olympics Men
football event in Brazil, he will sure be the one relied upon to carry Nigeria
on his little shoulders – He never disappoints!
On 7 January 2016, he won Africa’s Most Promising Talent of the Year award, at the CAF Awards in Abuja, Nigeria…
He scored the only goal for the Nigeria national team, Super Eagles, in their 1 – 1 draw against Egypt in Kaduna, during 2017 African Cup of Nations qualifiers… which Nigeria lost out in Alexandria.
Ogenekaro now plays for CD Feirense, a Portugal LigaPro team he signed on a Free Agent after his contract with Warri Wolves FC expired at the end of the 2014/15 season.
Ogenekaro will sure make the Rio Olympic his Stage this summer… He’s the man of BIG STAGES
