MFM, Enugu Rangers Gets Friday Night Date at Soccer Temple Agege - Expected to Pull Mommoth Crowd

LMC could experiment again on Lagos night life as they say, "Thank God is Friday!" When Traders and the working class get away from work to start off their weekend on a football note, before going clubbing or so.

MFM FC and Enugu Rangers will clash in the first Friday night game of the 2016/2017 Nigeria Professional Football League season

The match-day 10 encounter will take place at the 'Soccer Temple' Agege Stadium on Friday, February 24.

"The League Management Company has informed us that our game against Enugu Rangers initially scheduled for Sunday, February 26th, will now be played on Friday, February 24th," Olawale Quadri, the media officer of MFM FC announced.

"It will also be played by 7pm, the first time a game will be played in the night this season...
The LMC informed us the change was necessitated by the involvement of Enugu Rangers in the CAF Champions League."

MFM hosted the first Friday Night game last season against Kano Pillars and the turn out was very  encouraging, over 15, 000 spectators at the Agege Stadium.

Giving that Rangers have more of its supporters resident in Lagos, we expect that February 24 Match will even pull a mmmoth crowd.

Although, the Olukoya Boys are currently occupy third  position on the table, Rangers are struggling at the lower runks...and that may be something that will not motivate their Lagos fans as it should.
