Nigeria striker Paul Onuachu Scored Hat Trick in Midtjylland's Europa League Qualifiers Against Derby City
Nigerian striker, Paul Onuachu, is confident
Midtjylland can see off Hungarian side Ferencvaros in the next round of the
UEFA Europa League qualification clash.
The 23 year old scored an hat-trick for his Danish side
Midtjylland who outclassed Northern Ireland side, Derry City, in last night's
encounter 6-1 to advance to the next round of the competition with a 10-2
aggregate win.
Ferencvaros also beat FK Jelgava 3-0 on aggregate to qualify for
the next round of the competition.
Onuachu gave his side the lead in the seventh minute firing home
from close range.
He bagged his second on 38 minutes latching on to Yussuf Poulsen's corner which wasn't properly cleared
to safety by the Derry defense.
In the 69th minute, Onuachu completed his hat-trick side-footing
home Gustav Wikheim's clever flick from close range.
"It was a great game and I believe we
have what it takes to get past our opponents in the next round," Onuachu
told the media
"Our target is to get to the group stages of the
competition which is possible."
Onuachu scored 23 goals and made four assists in 45 games for
Midtjylland last season.
