First day, the Video man came with one Super Tapper 4 Camera... Shooting from the spectators stand by the middle left side of the stadium. He couldn't capture clearly moves from the far end of the pitch. I was so annoyed when he couldn't even capture what I felt was the best strike move from one of the players that day. Oh No! This isn't gonna work I shouted in anger.

The next day game he came with two cameras with different resolutions. That even got the matter worst. One of the cameras was shooting from the left end of the stadium stand, while the other from the right end. Switching from one camera to the other as the match proceeded, the resolution keep changing and the overall quality dropped

The other issue is this, you don't even understand which team is playing from right to left on the pitch, vice versa.When camera A switch to camera B, the direction of the teams changes on the video playback. It was  so so horrible!

My sincere counsel to you...

Don't go wasting your time and money. If you have a football match or football event program you want to shoot on video, use the professionals trained for the job. It will not only save you time and money, but a lot of headaches! Yeah, they may be expensive, but then, they will get the job done beyond your expectations.

Three Factors You Should Consider When Planning to Shoot A Football Match on Video

1. Pitch: A bad pitch or a good pitch in a bad environment can spoil the good work and the ingenuity of the cameramen. 

A grass field without the right grass can look very bushy on camera. A grass field that has several bald or not well dressed sides can even make the video worst.

Astro (artificial) turf has better resolutions on video than ordinary grass. So target an Astro turf or a well dressed and marked grass pitch.

Second, to avoid capturing images around a pitch that may spoil the quality of the video, use a stadium where the spectators stand will serve as the background. There are pitches with only one side spectators stand. Let your cameramen shoot from the otherside to capture the stand as background. It help to uplift the quality of the production.

2. Dressing of Players and Referees: Let each of the teams dress in unform (shirt, shot and hoists), preferable primary colors that catches the eyes easy and make video quality sharper. Let the two teams wear a contrasting uniform that clearly distinct them on video.. It help viewers to follow the game easier.Let the referee also dress in uniform with their red and yellow flags.
