This was confirmed by the Super Eagles media officer, Toyin Ibitoye, who also stated that the Confederation of African Football (CAF) has given a go-ahead.
According to him, both coaches have made this joint decision, as they hope to use the practice game to run through some last-minute tactical experiments on their respective teams.
“Both coaches agreed that the game should be played behind closed doors and this move has been backed by CAF. The plan is to ensure that the game is away from public view and overzealous challenges by players.
Super Eagles to Adopt 3-5-2
Super Eagles will be experimenting largely on a 3-5-2 formation in Sunday’s friendly encounter against the Terangha Lions of Senegal, to see how it pans out against a high quality opposition. Senegal is one of the favorites to win the competition, longside host Egypt, but Nigeria is determined to square up with them by testing the might of the currently No1 team in Africa according to FIFA Ranking
