Executive Governor of Imo State, Rt. Hon. Emeka Ihedioha, has today Monday August 5 2019 unveil Fidelis Ilechukwu as the new technical adviser of the state owned Heartland FC.
The unveiling ceremony took place at the Douglas House, seat of the Imo State government, in Owerri, at extactly 12 noon.
It has been a long journey to finding a replacement for Turkish man, Mehmet Tayfun and Ramson Madu, with a host of other eminent coaches like Sylvanus ‘Quick Silver’ Okpalla, Kabiru Dogo all linked to the Naze Millionaires coaching job. At end it was Ilechukwu that was finally chosen.

Ilechukwu, former MFM head coach, popularly known for his eccentric behaviors and nicknamed the Jose Mourinho of Nigerian football, is expected to bring not only his wealth of experience and football philosophy, but his charismatic nuances that inspire players to bring out their best.
Ilechukwu has dominated the low rang of the Nigerian league by helping MFM gain promotion from the Nationwide league to the elite NPFL. His football philosophy and coaching style has place MFM as one of the respected teams in Nigeria. And both management and fans thinks he is the right man for the job.
