First Nigerian Club to Launch A Mobile App - Support Vandrezzer FC [Download]

 

Vandrezzer FC have embraced their role as innovative pacesetters for Nigerian clubs and marked yet another first with the launch of a club app on Friday, becoming the first Nigerian club side to own a bespoke mobile application.

The privately-run Nigeria National League side who marked their first year anniversary on Thursday, are the country’s most digitally savvy club side and expanded their digital frontiers once again with the one-stop shop for all things Vandrezzer related.

The application connects the club to a global fan base and provides seamless access to club merchandise, live matchday video streams; in-club shows, VFC exclusive team news, match highlights, and live match updates. 

Fans and sports media can also watch press conferences and training footage; get the most fixture news, player profiles and stats via the app.

The launch of the VFC mobile app marks another incredible milestone for the club in just twelve months of existence and comes on the back of the club being recognised by Africa Football Digital Benchmark as the most digitally followed clubside in Nigeria and 37th best in Africa.

The club had earlier launched a website with seamless merchandising and ticketing options for fans and only recently completed a media partnership with UK-birthed international media outfit, Ovation Media Group as they continue to lay down the marker for professional club sides in Nigeria.

President of VANDREZZER Group, Joe Udofia, attributed the club’s unprecedented growth which has seen them outstrip established football clubs in only twelve months of existence to the ‘visionary leadership’ at the club. 

Head of Media and Marketing Department George Essien said the club are delighted to provide their teeming fans with a digital solution that connects them to the club from any part of the globe.

“We are delighted, the features of the app include fixtures and results, news, our merchandise shop and everything else you could get on the website is on the mobile app” Essien said. 

“You can now order for our jerseys with a speed of light at your finger tip, click on the app and go to the store, place order and it will be delivered to you.

“We are making it very easy for people to access Vandrezzer FC, taking it closer to you as we really appreciate the supportership that we have gotten so far. Also, very massive thank you to all the well-wishers we got on our first anniversary, we intend to do more, Vandrezzer FC won’t walk that road without you.”

The Vandrezzer FC mobile app can be accessed on Android via the Google Play Store for the time being with an IOS version due to be launched shortly.
