Fusion Football Championship has finally kicked-off on Wednesday July 7, 2021 after a long stay due to Covid-19 restrictions and some issues they needed to sort out with Lagos State FA.
The regional league which started in 2018 as Surulere Regional League had to rebrand over the period to accommodate the vision of the private league and to get through some registration processes both with NFF and LSFA. The league finally saw the day light due to the never-say-die attitude of the visionary Chairman: Alhaji Salau Abiodun and his team.
