Nigeria Vs Cape Verde: Gernot Rohr Steps On A Banana Peel, Will He Slip and Fall or Hold On to the Play-Off

All Nigerian fans know they will be holding their hearts in their hands as Super Eagles take on the Blue Sharks of Cape Verde in a final day World Cup Group stage qualifiers.

Anything can happen as Gernot Rohr tutored Eagles hasn't in anyway been convincing. We have watched this team threw away  4 - 0 home lead to a meadow Sierra Loane team to draw 4 - 4 in Afcon qualifiers. Again to our utter dismay we watched them loss at home 0 - 1 to another meadow Central African Republic.

I can tell you, most of the fans have lost confidence in this team, even though they've eked out results and stayed at the top of the group with only two points ahead of their opponent Cape Verde. Fans do not know what to expect, but another slip today will see Nigeria being eliminated from the World cup.

This game is indeed a banana peel Gernot Rohr will be stepping on today. And he must be careful!! Of course, there's no telling him, he knows that any slip in this game will be the eventual end of his contract!!

Despite the avalanche of talents playing top flight foitball in Europe, many pundits have predicted that Super Eagles will not qualify for the World Cup. The Nigerian side doesn't have what it takes to go through the Play-offs.

Teams like Senegal, Egypt, The Republic of Congo, Ghana have shown ruthlessness in their qualification for the play-offs. The pundits say any of these teams can easily defeat this Super Eagles squad during the Play-offs.
