Ignite Megastars Football Reality TV Show in Nigeria - Countdown

Ignite Megastars is a platform setup by C&CD Consulting Limited to discover, develop and promote young talents in sports, via its reality television show series in diverse sporting fields.

Male and Female athletes within the ages of 15 and 18 will have the opportunity to showcase their talent and rise to stardom through a transparent system of voting from Judges, Coaches and Viewers.

In addition to building the careers of these athletes, Ignite Megastars reality TV show, includes a learning curriculum in ethics, communication and interpersonal skills for participants.

Ignite Megastars would commence with the football reality TV show “Ignite Soccer Stars”. The male edition will be the first of the reality TV show series promoted by the Company.

The company held the first audition on October 1st - 3rd, 2021 and are counting down to the TV Reality show proper that will be broadcast live in major television stations in Nigeria.

The auditioning which took place at Legacy Stadium National Stadium Lagos saw over 200 youths participating Free of Charge.

Concept

Aspiring football athletes between the ages of 15 and 18 years will register (at no cost) on the Company’s website with all required documents uploaded.

Applications will be screened for authenticity and integrity.

Successful applicants from the screening stage will be invited for an auditioning exercise consisting of two scheduled games of soccer where players will have the opportunity to display their talent before a team of assessors (Coaches and Scouts), from where scores will be given, and selections made.

Successful players from the auditions will be coached to participate in the Ignite Soccer Stars tournament which will be broadcasted locally and internationally.

Before commencing the tournament, there would be a 3-day seminar for the selected players, on ethics, interpersonal, leadership and communication skills.

The Tournament

The Tournament will commence with 9 teams and after the first round, the team with the least goals/ points will be dropped.

Players not in form, as nominated by the Judges and decided by votes from Coaches and Viewers will be evicted , likewise players in form from the losing teams will be saved.

The elimination process will continue until the end of the game where the winning team and players will emerge.

Several prizes await the winning team and other exceptional performers including the top three players of the tournament.

Voting Model

The Ignite megastars show is poised to become the top sports reality tv show in the country. The show employs a unique voting model which involves the general public in the selection of the next sports stars in the country. Adopting such a model also ensures Ignite Megastars long-term sustainability.
