Remo Stars extended their lead at the top of Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL, following a 2-1 win against Akwa United in Uyo on Sunday.
Uche Sabastine put Akwa United ahead after six minutes.
The hosts maintained their lead for the remainder of the first half.
Samuel Anakwe restored parity for Remo Stars on 74 minutes, while Olamilekan Adedayo scored the winning goal for the visitors five minutes to full time.
Daniel Ogunmodede’s side occupy top spot on the log with 39 points from 20 games.
