There’s no
easier way that book hawkers in Lagos Motor Park can get your attention but to
ask a simple question as, where is the secretariat of Sports Writers Association
of Nigeria (SWAN)? Do you know the
office address, telephone or email you could contact immediately if need
information about any football organization in Nigeria? Well, if you don’t know
the answer you may probably want to buy the book they are offering you at a low

You can take
this for granted, but nothing can be more frustrating than when you need such

fastpath without much result. This is why am introducing to you the premiere

I started
brooding of how to compile this directory when Eric Bonfanti, a Post Graduate
student in University of Massachusetts contacted us at GreenHunters Sports
International. He was handling a project
on West African Football and needed contacts of football Associations,
Professional football clubs, prominent journalists in Nigeria… I found out how difficult it was to get such
information for him - We all know sports data is a challenge in Nigeria and
professionals aren’t doing anything about.
So Nigeria
Football directory isn’t just a good idea we got, it was born out of necessity,
to meet the needs of thousands of sports business people and fans who call us
daily to ask simple questions such as, Where is the office of Nigeria Football
Supporters club? The contact we feel should be readily available to all.
Sure, some
of these information could be found on the Internet, but not many people have
that patience or skill to make advance search and shifter out such largely

It was a lot
of work and we put in a lot of man hour to come out with what we have today.
