However, Golden Eaglets may have mastered the act. The Nigerians had never lost in the finals before. They‘ve won the tournament 4 times, going to the fifth and may be the only country to defend the trophy since tournament began in 1985.  

Nigeria defeated the hard fighting Mexican by 4 – 2 to reach the finals, While Mali Beat Belgium 3 – 1 to set up an all African deciders.
