Bet9ja Sealed N200 million Deal to Secure Title Sponsorship of Nigeria National League
Sports betting company in Lagos Bet9ja has been announced as the new title sponsor of the Nigeria National League.
This was confirmed by the Nigeria National League board through their official Twitter handle, @nnationalleague.
According to details of the deal, the Bet9ja sealed a three year N200m (two humdred million Nigerian Naira) title sponsorship contract with NNL.
Speaking on the deal, Chief Operating Officer of the NNL, Honourable Bukola Olopade said the deal which is a major one will definitely help in the rebranding efforts of the NNL’s new board.
“It is a done deal, we are happy about this development, we can now say it is a new League, it will now be known as BET9A Nigeria National League,” Olopade said.
“We are indeed excited. This will catapult us to a higher pedestal. It is a good deal, this was a League with a zero percentage of property to hold on to.”
Aside from BET9A, Olopade disclosed that they are working on bringing on board other sponsors to the NNL.
“We are not resting on our oars, however, in the next couple of weeks we are hoping to have Startimes and an oil company come in. We are hoping for more, I can say there is a great future for the Nigeria National League.”
Olopade went on to express delight at the progress made so far in the 2017 NNL season.
“It is worthy to note that we are extremely doing well with the outcome of the League so far. We have recorded impressive away wins and draws, these are positives to take from the new NNL.”
