30 Man Nigeria Provisional Team List for 2018 FIFA World Cup

Super Eagles of Nigeria head coach Gernot Rohr has announced his provisional squad for the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia.

In a 30-man list announced on Monday, the German tactician named four goalkeepers, ten defenders, eight midfielders and eight attackers

Perhaps, the two surprise inclusion is NPFL top goal scorer Junior Lokosa, who got into the provisional team without kicking the ball. But Lokosa's incredible form scoring 18 goals in 21 Npfl matches for Kano Pillars brought him into reckoning.

Then Simeon Nwankwo who has scored 7 goals for team Cotone, in tge on going Italian Serial A. These two strikers are expected to give Odoin Ighalo some stiff competition and boost the team's striking options.

The team will be trimmed down to 23 after the match against England on June 2nd.
