The Only Hope Nigeria Has Against Iceland - [2018 World Cup Fall Out]

Unrelenting Nigeria fans expect a dramatic turn around and believe Nigeria can still put up a five star performance in their next match against Iceland. But some of us know it will take more than just a miracle to survive either Iceland or Argentina.

The quality of the Iceland team I saw against Argentina is so high. I personally felt they overrated and so much respected the Argentine national team; perhaps, the result could have been different. Iceland could be a harder nut to crack.

While many felt it was just some silly childish mistakes, Nigeria could have drawn 0 - 0 in the match against Croatia. For me, that's a subjective reasoning. Croatia where far more better in terms of organization and quality... Super Eagles didn't even threaten their goal post, not even with one shot at goal althrough the 93minutes duration of the match.

Maybe, I think, the only hope Nigeria has is to change formation and go all out attacking Iceland, if it pays off, good; if it doesn't pay off,  then we know Nigeria is out of the mundial for good. Their best wasn't enough.

Most fans are talking about the Naija Spirit, the never say die nature of a typical Nigerian man, but it seems to me this team doesn't just have it... and they cannot give what they don't have!
