Super Eagles of Nigeria are bent on going for a revenge mission after their 2-0 loss to Bafana Bafana of South Africa in Uyo last June. "Nothing short of winning will do," said Ahmed Musa, the Nigeria national team stand in captain.

"Beating Bafana Bafana in their home ground will not only guarantee Nigeria the ticket to the next 2019 AFCON in Cameroon, but return its pride of place in African football."

It was quite a shocker as Super Eagles players put every foot wrong in the first leg and got punished by Bafana Bafana in front of home fans at the 36,000 capacity Akwa Ibom International Stadium Uyo.

But since then, Super Eagles have improved a lot going to 2018 Fifa World cup and completely outclassing Seychelles and Libya in recent games of the same Group E,  2019 AFCON qualifiers.

Bafana Bafana, on the other hand, beat Seychelles 6 - 0 in Johannesburg but struggled to a barren draw in the return leg, which now set up what you may call the decider between the top two teams of Group E.

Nigeria are top with nine points from four fixtures, while South Africa are in second place with eight points from the same number of games.

South Africa face Nigeria in the penultimate 2019 AFCON qualifiers on Saturday 17 November 2018 at the FNB Stadium. Kickoff is 3pm .
