Trophy 5-A-Side Football Tournament Start This March - How to Register A Team

International  Breweries  unveil a 5-A-side football competition  called the Trophy Field of Honour as part of the company's commitment to innovation and creativity that has help their brand penerate Nigeria market in no little measure.

At the unveiling, president west Africa International Breweries, Annabelle DeGrout said:

"At International  Breweries, we put our customers first and strive to give them all round value whether in an experiential manner or otherwise. That is why we are happy that the Trophy 5-a-side field of honour tournament  will resonate well with our people who are also football lovers."

Also, Marketing Director, Tolu Adedeji, remarked that the company knew that Nigeria is a football loving nation, stating that the Trophy 5-a-side Field of Honour campaign is not just another football tournament.

"It is designed to create an opportunity for our customers to celebrate and represent their communities. It is designed to tap into the passion many Nigerians have for football as they enjoy the beer they love."

On the prize money, she disclosed  that the winning prize would be N3million with all expense paid trip to Tanzania for the continental  finals. She also pointed out that the winning team would also have the bragging rights as the best 5-a-side football team in the southwest Africa.

How to Register and Participate In the Tournament
According to a statement by the company, There are designated bars where interested teams and individuals are required to pick up forms for registration to pparticipate. Once they meet the criteria of submitting 36 crown corks before deadline.

The in-bar activations which commenced March 7 will run through March 24, 2019,

The in-bar accreditation will take place in four states, that is, Oyo, Ogun, Osun and Lagos, football loving Trophy customers will be recruited as ‘Super-fans’ across the country via weekly questions and sweepstakes availing customers outside the four states the unique opportunity to participate in the tournament as fans.

Now, apart from the winning team prize, plenty gift items and monies will be won during the tournament, while the icing on the cake is the fact that the overall winners will represent  Nigeria at the continental 5-a-side tourney in Tanzania.

Brand Ambassadors Unveiled to Promote the Tournament

The brand promoters took the campaign strategy further by signing Joseph Yobo, Falz and Femi Adebayo as the Brand Ambassadors of the year 2019. All the three ambassadors will feature  in communication materials that will be deployed for the tournament.
