Anthony Nwakaeme Set Turkey Topflight League on Fire, Hit 10th Goal this Season

Nigerian forward Anthony Nwakaeme has now scored 10 goals across all competitions, including nine in the Turkish top-flight this season for Trabzonspor.

nwakaeme scored his ninth league goal of the season for Trabzonspor who thrashed Antalayaspor 4-1 in a Turkish Super Lig clash on Friday.

The visitors took the lead after nine minutes through Souleymane Doukara but Nwakaeme restored parity for the hosts in the 21st minute. The strike took his tally to six goals in his last five league games.

In the second half, goals from Caleb Ekuban, Olcay Sahan, assisted by Nwakaeme, and a late strike from Murat Cem Akpinar completed secured a comeback win for Unal Karaman’s side.

Trabzonspor is now placed fourth in the log, will play Shehu Abdullahi Bursaspor next Friday
