Nigeria’s Moses Simon gives verdict on Messi’s performance and why the Argentine decided to Exchange shirt with him in PSG against Nantes game last weekend

Recall that Nantes defeated PSG at home thanks to three goals from Randal Kolo, Quentin Merlin and Ludovic Blas, as Neymar’s strike was not enough.

Simon was sensational during the encounter as Nantes outclassed Messi-led PSG .

Giving his verdict on Messi’s display, the Nigerian international said the Argentine did well against Nantes, adding that the former Barcelona captain is the greatest player he ever played against.

“Messi is the greatest player I have ever played against. He is phenomenal with the ball. He actually gave a good account of himself in the match against my team. After the match, I exchanged jerseys with him and we had a chat about the game. 

"He didn't resist when I offered to exchange jersey with him. I don't know he has a history of not wanting to exchange jerseys with other players. But I offered and he didn't say NO."

“We utilized the chances we had in the first half, and special thanks must go to our goalkeeper, Alban Lafont, who was simply at his best in the game,” Simon told our correspondence.
