NFF Appoint New Coaches for CHAN Eagles, Flying Eagles and Golden Eaglets - Awaiting Official Announcement

All is set to announce new coaches for the CHAN Eagles, Flying Eagles and the Golden Eaglets. NFF insider have revealed that Salisu Yusuf and Ladan Bosso will retain their place as CHAN Eagles and Flying Eagles head Coach respectively.

Despite disbanding the coaching crew of Super Eagles, Salisu Yusuf will go back to continue his Job as CHAN Eagles head Coach. To assist him will be Kennedy Boboye, former Plateau United and Akwa United coach.

Ladan Bosso will also be retained as Flying Eagles Head coach despite failing to qualify for AFCON U20 the last time out. But Fatai Amaoo will be promoted from being U17 national team coach to Assist Bosso.

Nduka Ugbade, long due appointment to be Golden Eaglets head coach having won U17 World Cup as a player in 1986  and as an assistant coach to Manu Garba in 2013.

These appointments awaits NFF official announcement by Friday this week.

However, the appointment of new Super Eagles coach is still in the pipeline after the technical committee has made recommendations. And our insider said some names have been flying in the Glasshouse. Names like Sunday Oliseh, Finidi George, Emmanuel Amunike, even Samson Siasia and Nwankwo KANU...that is, if going by the favourable disposition of Ministry of Sports to employ indigenous coaches. But some school of thought said we are better off with an expertirate foreign coach.
