MTE 2023 Football Scouting event is open to both individual players between the ages of (16 and 19 years) as well as Under 18 football academies across Nigeria and ECOWAS sub-region

Review of the Last Edition

Masterclass Talent Exhibition (MTE) is the biggest football (soccer) Scouting event in Africa since 2013. The event which is usually held in Lagos Nigeria has been attracting players across the ECOWAS sub-region.

The success of MTE 2022 was particularly phenomenal. Player's agency CM Sport Management Ltd signed up five players and are currently working out possible trials for them in Italy or Poland. Watch this Video montage.

About the Host and 2023 Edition

Fantaxtik 'Make-It-Beautiful' Sport Marketing and Management Limited are the founders and host of MTE. The 2023 edition promise to be a bumper.

The event will be held at

Legacy Pitch, Former National Stadium Surulere Lagos Nigeria

It is expected to be a 10 day event from Thursday April 27 - Saturday May 6, 2023

Who is Eligible to Participate

The Scouting event is open to both individual male players between the ages of (16 and 19 years old) as well as Under 18 male football academies across Nigeria and other ECOWAS sub-region.

Registration and Processes

1. Male Individual player registration fee is  $15 USD, equivalent of NGN10,000 

Screening Process

There will be two days screening exercise for registered individual male players, to select an MTE team of 16 players. Therefore, only first 50 players that registered can be involved in the screening exercise.

 

The screening  exercise will take place at the Sand Pitch, Former National Stadium Lagos from Thursday, April 27 to Friday April 28, 2023.

NOTE 1: Only selected individual male players can participate in the video shoot trial matches.

2.   Under 18 Male football academies registration fee $215 USD equivalent to NGN150,000 and can only register 16 players.

NOTE 2: Only the first three registered academies can be allowed to participate in the video shoot trial matches.

Video Shoot Trial Matches

The video shoot trial matches will be played in a Round-Robin basis.

Selected individual male players will form MTE team and will play a Round-Robin trial matches with the registered Under 18 male academies. 

Each teams will play at least three matches to enable the scouts and agents make better decisions in selecting players from Monday April 30 to Friday May 6, 2023.

Uniform & kits

1. The MTE team will be provided with a team kit (Shirt and pants only),  which players will return at the end of each match. Players are not allowed to go away with the kits

2. Participating academies are expected to come with their own kits, but must dress in complete uniform team kits: (Shirt, Pants and hoists), before they can be allowed to participate in the video shoot trial matches.

Accommodation and Feeding

Both individual players and academies will be responsible for their own  accommodation, feeding and other logistics during the period of this scouting event.

Medical and Emergency

Both individual players and academies participating in the scouting event shall be responsible for any accident or medical issues that may occur during the event. The organizers may only provide first aid where necessary.

NOTE 3: You may have to bear with us, this is just a scouting event and not a tournament. Therefore, all the medical facilities and emergency response logistics may not be available. Make your own arrangements!

Goal

The goal is to help in networking outstanding talents and provide for them tools that will make it easier  to get them a good professional contract abroad.

Benefits

1. Selected players will have the opportunity to go for Professional football club trials abroad and possible sign a contract.

2. The use of Wyscout software and selected players scouting report, stats and performance analysis will be made available to the player's Intermediary and included in Player's profile (CV).

2. Selected players will have opportunity to sign a representative and possibly financial funding contract with CM Sport Management Ltd.

3. Selected players will have opportunity to produce their Promotional Video Clips.

4. Outstanding players will have the opportunity to published their performances on some of the best sports websites online.

5. Some of event's full match videos will be posted on YouTube, so players or coaches can review individual player or team performance.

MTE 2023 will be featuring

 Charles Martins, CM Sport Management Ltd is a player's intermediary that has vast connections with clubs in Italy, Germany, Malta as well as other Europe and Asian countries. He is expected to be on ground to broker representative and financial funding agreement with some selected players.

 Benson Chukwueke, CEO, Fantaxtik Sports Marketing and management Ltd as the host, he would be incharge of event planning and organization, advertisement and publicity, Registration verification, Promotional video clips production, media write ups and spotlights. Brokering agreement between players and agents during the scouting event.

Salau Abiodun, Chief Coach/Chief Consultant, Sal-Ruff International Sport Company,  is expected to be the chief Scout for the event. He would be incharge of players selection and presentation of Scouting reports; Stadium logistics for the event...

Payment Method

You are expected to come to the event  with you receipt or deposit slip as evidience of payment.
