Enyimba is currently at the top of the table after a convincing 3-0 win against Sunshine Stars on match-day four of the NPL Super 6 on Friday and may require only a goal draw to win the playoff.

The Peoples Elephant stand on 8 points, +4 goal difference, while Rivers United also on eight points, +2 goals difference) at second placed on the table. A one goal win will be enough for defending champions to lift the trophy again.

Everything now comes down on the final day of the playoffs on Sunday as Enyimba will take on Rivers United to decide the true winner.

Remo have an outside chance of being crowned champions provided they beat Bendel Insurance by a wide margin and hope both Enyimba and Rivers United play a draw with a low scoreline.

Bendel Insurance, in fourth place on three points, can secure qualification to the CAF Confederation Cup if they beat Remo with a wide margin.

As for Lobi and Sunshine, they both have two points and are out of the race for the title or continental tickets.
