Enyimba Youth Development Academy House A Big Talent Factory In Africa - Chris Twitty, Head Coach Hamkam FC Norway

Head Coach of the Norwegian club Hamkam FC, Chris Twitty, has described Enyimba FC’s youth development project as a great talent factory.

Twitty made the commendation during one of the training sessions at the ongoing one-week Enyimba/Hamkam Partnership Program at the Enyimba International Stadium, Aba.

According to Twitty, Enyimba have a lot of talent in their U-15, U-17 and U-19 teams.

The impressed Norwegian said although the young players showed a bit of tiredness after an intensive 220-minute training session, the tactical training usually takes time believing that they will adapt soon.

“Yeah, we have seen them and although they showed tiredness after 20 minutes but of course this tactical training usually takes time but we are going to leave some programmes with the coaches for the lads. Hopefully, when we return in June, there will have been a level of improvement.

“Yes, there are very special talents here and that’s the interest we have in the U-15s, U-17s and U-19s and with the programmes they will develop into real stars because they are very special talents”.

“There is a talent factory here,” Twitty reiterated.

Enyimba under the Chairmanship of Kanu ‘Papilo’ Nwankwo is building a football structure that would not just be a pool of talents for the 9-time NPFL Champions but also the growth and development of Nigerian football.

This has been buttressed by the partnership between the People’s Elephant’ and Hamkam FC, a premier league side in Norway who have been in Aba, Enyimba City for a one-week training programme for the club’s youth football development.

The team of three (Jorgen Bjorn, Head of Transfers and Sporting Director, Chris Twitty, Team Manager and Tuncay Leon Bardakci, FIFA Agent) arrived in Aba Friday for the one-week program.
