Chiamaka Nnadozie Favoured to Win The Best Goalkeeper Award Among Nominees in the French Women's League
Chiamaka Nnadozie is up for the best Goalkeeper of the Season award in the French D1 Akem (women’s top-flight league in France).
The nominations for the 2023/2024 season were announced on Monday with two games to go. Nnadozie will battle Lyon's Christiane Ender and PSG's Katarzyna Kierdrzynek for the prize. Since moving to France in 2020, the 23-year-old has established herself as one of the best goalkeepers in Europe.
Nnadozie has been nominated for the second consecutive season for the best goalkeeper award and are more favoured to win with her incredible performances this season
The 22-year-old has once again made a big impression for Paris FC on the domestic scene as well as the UEFA Women’s Champions League.
The shot stopper was voted Player of the Month for March in the French D1 Akem.
It would be recalled that she won the Bruno Martini Award for Goalkeeping Revelation of the Season in the French top-flight in the 2021/22 season.
