This year saw somewhat of a reformation going-on in FIFA, for the first time since 2013, TB Joshua's predictions of 2016 football events was broadcast live on Amateur TV. And now we want to find out how accurate were those prophetic utterances, so to say.
In 2013, TB Joshua, a prophet and Overseer of The Synagogue of all Nations in Nigeria, foretold that:
- 2016 will start off a total reformation of FIFA and bring about the Asian challenge of European dominance of world football administration.
- Sudden transitional changes in NFF administration will bring about a New Golden era for Nigerian football.
Today, we don't need a prophet to tell us what is going in FIFA, because the handwriting is all on the wall. FIFA is trying to cleanse itself of corruption and the Sepp Blatter must go campaign, said to be spearheaded by British stakeholders, are on the way to usher in a new FIFA president.
By the rule of thumb, you may say that UEFA president, Mitchell Platini should emerge the next FIFA president come February 2016, or Prince Ali who contested against Blatter at the last election. But going by the poll conducted by Soccerex, the votes isn't going Platini's way.
A new wave of campaign coming from the Americans and the Asian camp is already challenging European dominance and the need for a total review of world football administration. And the Korean football mogul Chung Mong-Joon is planning to launch some new assaults.
So Who Becomes the Next FIFA President in 2016? Will TB Joshua's predictions of an Asian strong contention play out in the following months? Only time will tell all that.
Let's leave FIFA presidency and look at the impending New Golden era foretold about Nigerian football.
Yes, the prediction had said Keshi and most of the players that won AFCON 2013 would be dropped and a new coach who already has been in the system will emerge.
The prediction had said the new players will emerge from 2015 U20 World cup and 2016 Olympic games. How accurate were those predictions.
This year, we have seen NFF president, Amaju Pinnick, endorsed Sunday Oliseh as the new Super Eagles (Nigeria National team) coach and Samson Siasia doing well with the Dream team.
We have also seen somewhat changes from LMC administration of Nigeria Professional Football League and we are all full of expectations for the arrival of this foretold NEW GOLDEN ERA.
