Nigeria’s D’Tigers Wins AfroBasket for The First Time – Congratulations!!

Truly, we do not cover basketball, we’re addicted to Nigerian football. But our goal really is to celebrate Nigeria’s remarkable achievements and what these giants have done is worth pooping champagne  - Congratulations

It was the first time Nigeria would win their Angolan counterparts, a 74-65 victory in the finals,  was all D’Tigers needed to clinch their first Afrobasket trophy.

You should bear with us, it was the first time Nigeria would win the Championship [the 2015 Edition].

Chamberlain Oguchi led the way for Nigeria, finishing with a game-high 19 points, and was named the tournament’s MVP.

The win means Nigeria have qualified for the 2016 Olympics, where they’d hope for a better performance than last time.
