Oghenekaro Etebo Make LaLiga Team of the Week, After Las Palmas Debut

 Las Palmas new signing, Nigeria midfielder Oghenekaro Etebo, has been included in the Spanish LaLiga Team of the Week.

The Team of the Week was compiled by football facts and statistics website whoscored.com.

Etebo joined Las Palmas from Portuguese top flight club Feirense on loan in January until the end of the season.

His inclusion into the Team of the Week was due to his impressive performance in his debut for Las Palmas in their 1-0 home win against Malaga in a league clash on Monday. He featured for 90 minutes in the encounter.

Also included in the list is former Liverpool midfielder Philippe Coutinho who joined Barcelona in the January transfer window.

According to whoscored.com, the Team of the Week is in a 4-4-2 formation with Etebo in the central of midfield.

The 2016 Rio Olympic bronze medal winner is expected to be in action when Las Palmas travel away to face Athletic Bilbao.
