Mike Emenalo May Loose His Job At AS Monaco

These are not the best of times for former Super Eagles player and coach, Michael Emenalo as he is on the verge of losing his job as sporting director of AS Monaco less than 12 months after he took the job.

Emenalo resigned from the post of technical director at Chelsea last November with the intention of spending more time with his family and took up the job at Monaco three weeks later.

According to a report from Get French Football News, The former Chelsea director could lose his job along with manager Leonardo Jardim after Monaco’s poor start to the season which has seen them fall into the relegation zone as they are third from behind on the league table.

Monaco have managed just one win in their opening nine league games and have picked up just six points with supporters attributing the downfall of the club this season to the poor transfer policies of Michael Emenalo.

Michael Emenalo is not new to a situation like this as he also suffered a similar fate during his time at Chelsea when supporters blamed him for the club’s transfer decisions.
