Samuel Kalu's Bold Play The Talking Point, Scored His Debut for Super Eagles

The Bordeaux playmaker, Samuel Kalu , performance in his debut game for Super Eagles of Nigeria got the attention of fans across the country...He was a major talking point for analysrs that saw the game between Nigeria and Libya in 2019 Afcon qualifiers first leg in Uyo.

Kalu put up such a bold performance as he tried to pull the game to his control. With the way he played I was almost sure he will get a goal before the end of the game.

But fans reacted to his several mistakes and someworth selfish play...many shouted aloud in the stadium during the match and wondered if he can be the right replacement for retired Victor Moses.

Gernor Rohr, Super Eagles head coach said Kalu  needs to work a little harder if he wants to fully replace Chelsea star, Victor Moses in his team.

Kalu, who played his first game for Nigeria against the North Africans, did very well, adding that there’s little work for him to do to replace Moses.

”Kalu did very well but sometimes he had a problem of integrating well into the team which is normal coming into a new team,” Rohr said in a post-match interview.

Kalu scored the fourth goal after Odion Ighalo's hat trick in Nigeria's  4 - 0 white wash of Libya on Saturday in Akwa Ibom International stadium Uyo. He is expected to put up a more stunning performance in the second leg match on Tuesday  October 16 at Sfax Stadium in Tunisia.
