Assisat Oshoala Seal Super Falcons First Win At the World Cup


Nigeria on Wednesday June 12, 2019, defeated Korea Republic 2-0 in a crucial Group A clash in Grenoble France .

Assisat Oshoala scored an incredible counter-attack to secure Nigeria ever first win in a Fifa Women World Cup.

The three times African Player of year scored the second goal after  korea republic defender Kim Doeyon  porched in the first ( own  goal).

With this, the Nigerian ladies broke their own record and now stand a chance to qualify for the Round of sixteen.

Nigeria now have three points, following their 3-0 loss to Norway in the first game.
Thomas Dennerby’s ladies take on host nation France in their last Group match on Monday June 17, by 8pm.
