How Far Can this Eaglets Go in 2019 Fifa U17 World Cup in Brazil - Here's Expert Analysis

Well, not much of the Nigerian fans are excited about this set of the Golden Eaglets, going by their performances in the Afcon U17 tournament, where they managed to qualify as the fourth place team.

Then, their not too convincing performances during the preparations for the world cup. You  may just say, where ever they can get to, the team doesn'tt possess such exceptional  individual talents or such character of champions as the 2013 and 2015 sets.

But one thing going for them is, the Nigerian cadets have a head coach in Manu Garba who understands clearly what it takes to win and to become champions at this level.

He was the assistant coach to Yemi Teller when the eaglets won in 2007. In 2013, he became the head coach and also won tthe world cup with some enterprising players like Kelechi Iheanacho, Isaac Success, Musa Mohammed... So, he is very experienced and has shown he can deliver at this level.

Of course, we saw a team that is more determined to grind out a result in Nigeria's first game against Hungary, where the Eaglets came from behind twice to win 4 - 2. That performance gave hope to many Nigerians and we are hoping they replicate it against Ecuador.

With respect, I believe this Eaglets improve with each game and go on all the way. I hope luck be on their side too.
