AFCON 2021 Semi-Final fixtures - Running to the final Showdown

It has been an extraordinary Africa cup of nations in Cameroon. So far there has been a lot of thrillers and surprises. However, the best teams has emerged as predicted by most pundits during the quarter finals and there wasn't any surprises, apart from the match between Egypt and Morocco.

Gambia

The fairytale of the Scorpions of Gambia eventually came to an end, but the team will ever relish their performance and the joy they brought to their nation this season.

Equatorial Guinea

Equatorial Guinea showed they were the dark horse indeed. Well organized and not afraid of any opponent. However, Senegal brought their A- game to the party and that proved too much for the ebullient Equatorial Guineans. I think the team should hold their head high as they return back to their country.

Egypt

Egypt has gradually picked form with every game and has proved that they can win the trophy for the eighth time running.
