Rivers United and Remo Stars Maintain Unbeaten Run - Despite Sunday's Top of the Table Clash

 

Many pundits believed that Sunday's clash would have ended the unbeaten run between Rivers United and Remo Stars this season, but that didn't quite happen. 

Though, Rivers United retained their top spot in the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL), despite a 1-1 draw with Remo Stars in Akure on Sunday.

The result means Rivers United and Remo Stars still remain unbeaten this season.

Although they both have the same number of points (19), Rivers United have a superior goal difference.

In the South West derby, 3SC pip MFM 1-0 at the Agege Stadium.

Former champions Plateau United beat Abia Warriors 1-0 in Jos, while Wikki Tourists defeated Nasarawa United 2-0.

In Uyo, Rangers held Dakkada to a 0-0 draw and Akwa United defeated Niger Tornadoes away.
