Bayelsa Queens Start-off on A High Note - Thrashed Athleta Ladies In CAF Women's Champions League

 

Bayelsa Queens of Nigeria thrashed Athleta Ladies of Togo 5-0 in their opening game of the WAFU B CAF Women’s Champions League Qualifiers on Sunday evening .

 The Nigerian ladies were in complete control in Yammosoukro, Ivory Coast , Joseph Miracle scoring the first goal in the 5th minute .

 Bayelsa Queens built on the early goal as Etim Edidiong scored four goals in a remarkable performance for Bayelsa Queens against Athleta Ladies FC Of Togo.

 The Prosperity Girls as Bayelsa Queens are nicknamed will play two other group stage games before the Knockout round of the zonal elimination .

 8 teams will qualify from all the zones for the 2022 CAF Women’s Champions League to be hosted by Morroco in a yet to be announced date .
